Keith G. Cooper, widely celebrated as the "Stingray Whisperer," is the passionate owner and marine conservationist behind West End Ecology Tours, located in the pristine waters of West End, Grand Bahama Island. Born in the Bahamas, raised in Florida and having served as a U.S. Army veteran, and 20 years observing and filming stingrays and sharks’ behavior. Keith has dedicated his career to marine wildlife, particularly focusing on stingrays in their natural habitats. Through his immersive tours, Keith educates visitors about the ecological importance of stingrays and fosters a deep respect for these majestic creatures.
Nurse Shark Mating Ritual
Building on his extensive experience and success with stingray interactions, Keith is excited to introduce the upcoming Nurse Shark Experience Tour slated for June 20-25, 2025. This new venture aims to replicate the intimate, educational encounters that Keith has pioneered with stingrays but will extend to include nurse sharks, offering guests a unique opportunity to learn about and safely interact with another fascinating marine species.
